The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
